The Venue

Lauder Live is taking place in the grounds of Thirlestane Castle, Lauder.

Parking

Ample parking is provided within the grounds, but parking is limited within Lauder town centre itself.

Access

Visitors arriving by car or bus are requested to use the southern gate. To get to the southern gate take the first road when leaving Lauder via the main road (A68). Pedestrian access is also available from the TollGate entrance on the main road.

Wheelchair Users

Most paths are suitable for wheelchair users and all stalls and competitions will be easily accessible by wheelchair. In some areas gravel may provide some difficulty. Toilet facilities are provided for wheelchair users, but the castle itself is not easily accessible by wheelchair. Visitors with particular needs should direct their enquiries to Thirlestane Castle staff who will be pleased to assist.

Toilets

Portaloos are provided on site. Further loos are available in the castle.

Children

Entertainment (karaoke) will be provided for children before the main show on Friday.

Seating

Limited seating will be available at Lauder Live. Visitors may bring their own seat, or buy a seat on the day for about £10.
